Cushman & Wakefield announced today the appointment of Gonçalo Garcia as Head of Hospitality, a new business sector part of the Capital Markets Group team led by Luís Rocha Antunes.
Gonçalo Garcia has a degree in Hotel Management from the Estoril Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies (ESHTE) and has a post-graduation degree in Real Estate Management and Finance from INDEG- ISCTE in Lisbon. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, he worked as Sales and Marketing Director at the Talatona Convention Hotel - Luanda, Angola. He has also worked as a consultant in tourism consulting firms, such as ILM Advisory and Dynamic Hotels, having coordinated several real estate-tourism development projects.

Cushman & Wakefield Hospitality will provide services focused on the sector needs, namely the support to investment operations either on sale or purchase of real estate assets with touristic potential, advisory, hotel operators search and selection processes, and strategic consultancy. Gonçalo Garcia will work in close collaboration with Research and Valuation & Advisory teams in Lisbon as well as with the international Hospitality team.
