Cushman & Wakefield has recently placed another luxury brand, Porsche Design, on Avenida da Liberdade, in Lisbon. Occupying a total of 332 m2, the new shop has opened in the Ópera Lx building, at number 236.
Opera Lx was developed by AM | 48, and has recently been honored at the Lisbon Real Estate Exhibition (SIL) with the Urban Renewal award, in the category major ventures.
Porsche Design was created in 1972 by Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche. Its products epitomise functionality and purist and timeless design, exuberating technological innovation.
In this deal, Cushman & Wakefield was appointed exclusively by the owner, AM48, to let the shops.
This emblematic 19th-century building has been completely refurbished, whilst maintaining its original façaade.
In addition to residences, the property has 3 retail units with areas ranging from 70 to 400 m2 in a range of layouts. Two can be accessed and viewed from Avenida da Liberdade and one from Rua Rodrigues Sampaio.
Avenida da Liberdade is an excellent location for leading international brands in the luxury segment, and is one of the most prestigious shopping streets in the world, where brands like Gucci, Cartier, Michael Kors, Prada, Miu Miu, Emporio Armani, Hugo Boss and Ermenegildo Zegna have a presence.
According to Sandra Campos, Cushman & Wakefield’s retail director and partner, “Choosing Avenida da Liberdade to open the first store of the Porsche Design brand was just perfect, due to the brand's image and position. The main avenue in the capital is highly sought-after by national and international retailers in the luxury segment because it offers a location of excellence”.
