Cushman & Wakefield joins the initiative Vogue Fashion's Night Out for the first time

Cushman & Wakefield participated in the initiative Vogue Fashion’s Night Out in Lisbon for the first time.

Created in 2009 in order to promote high street retail, this initiative takes place in 6 of Lisbon's busiest shopping streets, such as Avenida da Liberdade, Rua Castilho, Príncipe Real, Chiado, Rua Augusta and Rua do Ouro.

Cushman & Wakefield's participation was a videomapping projection onto the facade of the firm's offices, at Avenida da Liberdade 131. This projection was showed for several sessions in the course of the evening of Vogue Fashion´s Night Out 2015, attended by thousands of people.

According to Eric van Leuven, managing director of Cushman & Wakefield, “For us it makes good sense to participate in this initiative, as one of our strongest sectors is retail, and we have a very important tradition in this sector on Avenida da Liberdade, where we believe we were pioneers. Since 1991 we have placed most of the brands in this location, including Hard Rock Café, Cartier, Hugo Boss and Ermenegildo Zegna, among other retailers who chose this location in Lisbon. In addition, our head office is located on the heart of Avenida da Liberdade, strengthening our ties to this location”.

In Portugal, Cushman & Wakefield now has 80 employees exclusively dedicated to commercial real estate, especially in the areas of retail, offices, industry, investment, property management and project management, valuation & advisory and research & consulting.
