C&W announced the appointment of partner and head of Portugal’s retail department Sandra Campos to the firm's international luxury retail group.
This group comprises the firm's country retail heads for Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Benelux, Germany and now Portugal. The international team's mission is to understand retailers' specific needs – whether in terms of location, size or other requirements – in a segment that is highly selective in its choice of location.
“Portugal's entry into the Cushman & Wakefield EMEA luxury retail group follows the growing success this segment has seen in our market in recent years and our team's significant involvement. Avenida da Liberdade, in Lisbon, has become one of the high-end shopping destinations of choice in Europe, home to a majority of the global luxury brands and a shopping destination for both local and foreign customers. This appointment is a clear recognition of the important work we have done in this area," said Sandra Campos.
Multiple and international operators on Avenida da Liberdade now occupy sales floor space of 18,000 sqm, of which around 80% are international brands.
Of the current luxury offering, Cushman & Wakefield takes credit for the placement of brands such as Cos, Juliana Herc, Hackett London, Cartier, Boutique dos Relógios Plus, Longchamp, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Carolina Herrera and Aristocrazy, a second Hugo Boss boutique and the relocation of Ermenegildo Zegna.
