Cushman & Wakefield has recently announced the placement of a designer clothing brand on Avenida da Liberdade, Juliana Herc. The new store occupies 260 m2 and opened in September in the Avenida 252 building. This is the first shop of the Brazilian designer in Portugal.
C&W was responsible for this placement, acting on behalf of the building owner Revilla Internacional.
Juliana Herc brand aims to provide women access to sophisticated clothing, made out of excellent raw materials and garnishing, through a painstaking, elaborate and artisan working method. Its identity is heavily influenced by Brazil, the country where the brand started life.
According to Sandra Belo from Cushman & Wakefield’s retail department in Portugal, “Choosing Avenida da Liberdade to open the first store of the Juliana Herc brand was just perfect, due to the brand's image and position. The main avenue in the capital is highly sought-after by national and international retailers in the luxury segment because it offers a location of excellence”.
Avenida da Liberdade today has a total of multiple and international operators whose sales area amounts to more than 18,000 m2, of which around 85% are international brands. When analysed by sector, fashion clearly dominates, accounting for 68% of the total area.
The Avenida 252 building on Avenida da Liberdade, adjacent to Praça Marquês de Pombal square, has offices totalling 5,200 m2 and retail stores occupying 900 m2.
