Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed as the exclusive seller of Unilever Jerónimo Martins' industrial property in the centre of Sacavém.
The placement of this industrial property in the market follows the restructuring of Unilever Jerónimo Martins' operation in Portugal, which has seen a greater focus on food products, with production increasing at the Santa Iria da Azóia plant.
Located adjacent to Parque das Nações and the city of Lisbon, overlooking the Tejo River and just round the corner from the airport and Gare do Oriente, the property has unrivalled development potential and could be a future location of an exemplary project with unique usage and architectural features for Sacavém and the Lisbon zone.
Ana Gomes, associate and director of the industrial and plots department of C&W in Portugal, said “this is a rare opportunity for real estate promotion in an exceptional location at an extremely competitive price in an increasingly strategic zone with more competitive conditions in the market."
Occupying land of 33,234m², the property embraces several constructions, all of which are being demolished and dismantled, meaning the property will be sold as land for construction.
