Cushman & Wakefield announced the appointment of Fátima Machado and Nuno Tadeu as European associates of the firm.
Fátima Machado has a degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Técnico de Lisboa and also holds a post-graduation in management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Fátima joined the Cushman & Wakefield property & asset management in 2010, and today is responsible for managing a number of buildings in the Parque das Nações zone in Lisbon, including Arts Business & Hotel Centre (Credit Suisse), Mar Vermelho (Internos) and Espace & Explorer (AFIAA), among others, and is also responsible for the Sustainable Community concept at Cushman & Wakefield.
In turn, Nuno Tadeu is has a degree in Real Estate Management from the Escola Superior de Atividades Imobiliárias and holds a post-graduation qualification in property management and valuations from ISEG. He is also member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) since June 2012. With approximately 20 years of professional experience, Nuno Tadeu started working in the valuation & advisory department at Cushman & Wakefield in November 2009. He is now directly involved in valuation and advisory work for prominent companies and investors in national and international real estate markets.
According to Eric van Leuven, Cushman & Wakefield’s managing partner in Portugal, “These appointments represent important recognition of these employees, both due to their dedication to the company and clients, and their ability to generate new business”.
