Opened on February 27, the ice-cream shop is located on one of the busiest streets of Lisbon, Rua Garrett, and occupies an area of 90 m2.

Founded in 2002 by Cristiano Sereni and Paolo Benassi, Amorino opened its first shop in Paris. Today there are 88 shops, mostly located in Europe. This is a premium brand that relies on the quality of its products and welcoming environment of its shops. The brand's mission is to let its customers experience the genuine flavour of Italian ice cream.

Geoffroy Moreno, one of Amorino's representatives in Portugal, said “To date the opening of the second Amorino shop has been a resounding success. We have served countless tourists and local residents who appreciate our premium ice-cream products and shop concept. Amorino has a presence in more than ten countries around the world and Portugal has clearly been a successful strategy. C&W played an essential role in the process, guaranteeing prime locations in Lisbon.”

Mafalda Cotta of Cushman & Wakefield’s retail department said “the fact that Chiado is so busy and so prestigious makes Rua Garrett the perfect location for Amorino's second store. Following the success of the store on Rua Augusta, it was paramount to open this second store in this prime zone, which is increasingly emerging as a top shopping and leisure destination for Lisbon's residents and tourists visiting the city. We believe this will be another enormous success for Amorino and are confident it will reinforce the excellent shopping facilities on Rua Garrett.”
