The Challenge
Our client, Sport Lisboa e Benfica, wanted to open their first Flagship Store, in a prime city location with an ambitious work program:
- Store with 3 floors totaling some 320 m2
- Building located in a historical, protected area of the city with many construction and planning constraints
- Very bold store design
The Solution
C&W was instructed as Project Manager and was responsible for supervising the following:
- Design development;
- All on site store fit out works, in coordination with the refurbishment works being carried out on the entire building
- Compliance of the ambitious works program
- Coordination of fit out subcontractors / suppliers
The Results
Our Supervision and Project Management services were essential in flexibly dealing with all changes and obstacles during construction. We were able to:
- Optimise the program, despite alterations during construction
- Ensure compliance to the budget
- Ensure a high quality level of finish, despite the complexity of the works and tight program
