The Challenge
Nunes Corrêa, a high street retail unit located in the downtown of Lisbon, was founded in 1856 and is present in Rua Augusta since 1919. The 5-storey building comprises a total area of 600 sq.m.
The Solution
Our client wanted to proceed to a sale & leaseback that would release equity into the operation and grant him long term occupation of this property.
Cushman & Wakefield structured a strategy that ensured the best ratio between price and rent, and lease terms that created a balanced structure for both landlord and tenant.
The Results
The sale & leaseback transaction was concluded with Prowinko, a well-known Belgium group, and totalled €2M.
